Cheltenham racecourse sits in in a bowl just below the escarpment of the Cotswold hills - a natural amphitheatre is created in which the chariot racers (jockeys) and gladiators (horses) do not disappoint.
It’s a notoriously cold racecourse but one with excellent views due to its bowl like shape. Layers are therefore the order of the day – vests, cashmere polo necks, thick tights ensure comfort and longevity for the day. Many wear quintessentially British tweeds with suede boots, topping off the look with a chic trilby and fur accessory for warmth.
