Morning

I would wake up at The Lowell hotel, my absolute favorite for the wood-burning fireplaces in-room, the smell of candles everywhere and the proximity to Central Park. After breakfast in their gorgeous light-filled restaurant, Majorelle, I would go for a walk in the park and then visit The Met. Hopefully a little spring shower happens while I’m inside the museum because it is magical in there when it’s raining.

Lunch

For lunch I would get dressed up and head to the restaurant on the top floor of Bergdorfs for the views of Manhattan. And the setting feels so “old New York” with its de Gournay wallpaper and pastel blue fabrics. I always start to channel Audrey Hepburn.

Post lunch I would do some shopping there and then perhaps get a facial at Barbara Sturm.

Evening

I would get ready early and head down to the West Village to enjoy the light just beginning to fade on the old brown stones and parks. I love the buzz of the West Village with its cozy little streets, and cast of characters walking about. People-watching is never better than in New York City. Dinner would be at the Waverly Inn because I love a martini in a classic restaurant with a historic feel, and I still see an interesting well-known face every time I dine there, so again, the people-watching is perfection. After dinner I would head back up town and hope to score a table at Bemelmans at The Carlyle for some jazz. Then I may just walk the streets for another hour or two.

Now that sounds like the perfect bite out of the Big Apple if you ask us!
